Day 1: Arrival in Madrid

Arrival at Madrid airport, meet, greet and transfer to your First Class hotel by coach. It is suggested you take advantage of the free time to get to know one of Europe's most dynamic capital cities. Explore the capital of Spain with nice buildings & rich museums. Overnight in Madrid (D)

Arrive in Rome, and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Rome.

Days 2-3: Madrid (B) Your first day in Madrid

you will be able to experience the city on your own pace with the sightseeing Hop on-Hop off tour. Near the Plaza Mayor is the area known as the “old aristocratic centre” where the jewel in the crown is the Royal Palace, an imposing building dating from the 17th century featuring a mixture of Baroque and classicist styles. Beside it are the elegant Royal Palace and the Almudena cathedral. During your second day in Madrid you can take one of our optional day trips to Toledo or Segovia & Avila, etc. Overnight in Madrid.

Day 4: Madrid - Seville (B)

Transfer to Atocha train station and take the AVE train from Madrid to Seville. Transfer from the train station to your hotel in Seville. Check in at your hotel and enjoy free time to discover the charming capital of Andalusia, divided by the Guadalquivir great river. Overnight in Seville. Approximate distance: 534 km/ 332 mi. Day 5: Seville (B)

In the morning you will be able to discover the city on your own pace with the Sightseeing Hop onHop off tour. The streets and squares of Seville are lively and busy. Overnight in Seville.

Day 6: Seville - Cordoba (B)

Check out from your hotel, transfer to train station and board the AVE high speed train to Cordoba. Arrive and transfer to your hotel to check in and enjoy free time to explore this immensely historical city, the ancient capital of the Umayyad Caliphate which has unique wealth of monuments. Its historic centre has the UNESCO World Heritage designation, and this is not only on account of the Great Mosque. Such splendour is palpable in the intelligentsia of this centre of wisdom and knowledge that has given birth to important great men such as Seneca, Averroes and Maimonides. Walking through the streets of Cordoba is like going from one historical period to another discovering charming streets, squares and whitewashed courtyards arranged around the MosqueCathedral. Day 7: Cordoba - Granada (B)

In the morning join a Cordoba monumental Tour including entrance to the mosque - cathedral of Cordoba. Transfer to the train station & board ALTARIA high speed train. Arrive in Granada, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight in Granada. Approximate distance: 200 km/ 124 mi. Estimated journey time: 2hrs. Day 8: Granada (B) In the morning enjoy a visit to the magnificent Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens. Also you will have at your disposal an Audio-Guide visit system with 4 different routes to move freely around the city. The Alhambra is a beautiful complex of buildings and gardens. Its leafy tree-lined walkways provide pleasant shade and freshness. It was the largest political and aristocratic centre of the Muslim West. The Palace premises comprise courtyards and fountains, as well as, the Nasrid buildings that served as living quarters for the monarchs. The oldest building is the Alcazaba citadel. One of the most important structures is the La Vela tower, which offers lovely views of the City. The courtyard of the Lions with its fountains is one of the most beautiful in the complex. The Generalife gardens were partially constructed as far back as 1319, and reflect the old layout of an Arab villa, with their arrangement of patios and viewing points. You can also explore the Albayzin neighbourhood, with its deep Arabic flavour with narrow steep streets that are home to “Carmenes” (houses with courtyard). Overnight in Granada.

Day 9: Granada - Malaga (B)

Check out from your hotel in Granada, transfer from Granada to Malaga/Costa del Sol, check in to your hotel and enjoy time to visit the area or to go to Malaga. A modern, yet historic city, Malaga has an air of Mediterranean port including a charming historic centre with Gothic cathedral surrounded by traditional buildings, narrow pedestrian streets and the best tapas bars. Recently, the capital of Costa del Sol has invested in its culture and heritage with new museums like the one dedicated to Picasso. Malaga is a joy to stroll around, where you also can discover a Roman amphitheatre, the historic Alcazaba, a palace - fortress which dates from the 11th century with caliphal horseshoe arches, courtyards and fountains; the Gibralfaro Castle (14th century) and the Malagueta city beach. Of course the famous Costa del Sol, with its beaches, as well as, beautiful landscapes and picturesque villages are not far from the city centre. Overnight in Malaga (Costa del Sol). Day 10: Malaga (B)

Today you will be able to explore Malaga, the capital of Costa del Sol. Birthplace of Picasso, the vibrant cosmopolitan city of Malaga is situated on the beautiful Andalucía coastline. Blessed with sunshine and fantastic quality of life, Malaga provides lively nightlife, museums and exceptional seafood restaurants alongside wide boulevards, exotic palm trees and beautiful beaches. In Malaga, the figure of Picasso is everywhere. In addition to the painter's House-museum, the best example is the Picasso Museum, founded in 2003, it was an answer to a wish of the artist himself that his work be represented in the city of his birth and it features more than 200 works covering the different styles, materials and techniques used by the great artist. Another visit not to be missed is to the Carmen Thyssen Museum with its excellent collection of 19th-century Spanish painting. You can also simply stroll around Malaga’s historic centre to visit monuments: the cathedral, a fine example of Andalusian Renaissance; the Alcazaba, a 10th-century Arab palace-fortress; and the Roman Theatre. Day 11: Departure from Malaga (B)

Check out of the hotel, transfer to Malaga airport for your return flight via Madrid.
